Ford will launch a new model this year. The developer will also introduce a new Sasquatch suite, which is optional for customers, following the release of six Bronco models.
Ford recently posted pictures online of what eagle-eyed customers saw as the company’s upcoming Mustang Raptor or Wartog.
The developer also recently applied for a trademark for Warthog, which will reportedly be used for passenger cars, pickups and SUVs. This has led many to suspect that the new trademark will be applied to the new Bronco.
There is speculation that the upcoming Bronco Warthog will have a larger model, possibly based on the same body as the F-150.
The developer says it will continue to refine the Bronco and take the range to new heights. Ford confirmed that the new Bronco will have a twin turbocharged 2.7-liter V6 that can deliver 310 horsepower.
For more advanced models, the developer will likely use one of the EcoBoost engines, the 400-hp 3.0-liter and the 450-hp 3.5-liter.
