Kia Hyundai urgently recalls 600,000 problematic vehicles
Recently, Hyundai-Kia announced an emergency recall of 600,000 vehicles. The reason for this recall is that when the driver presses the start switch, it may cause the engine to catch fire, so Hyundai-Kia decided to recall these problematic vehicles.
The South Korean Hyundai manufacturer has also discovered vehicle problems. When the car does not start, the vehicle is also in danger of fire. The reason for this problem is the liquid leakage of the ABS device.
Since the first discovery of the vehicle problem, Hyundai told the company that it has been investigating the problem and finding out how many vehicles were affected.
Among the recorded affected vehicles, there are 440,370 Yamahas. There are 283,803 vehicles from 2013 to 2015 and 156,567 vehicles from 2014 to 2015.
The vehicles recalled by Hyundai here mainly include Elantra and Elantra Touring.
So far, Hyundai has received a total of 15 reports of engine fires and 8 accident reports. However, according to Hyundai, the reports received so far did not clearly indicate that it was caused by the above reasons.
In order to appease customers’ mood, the developer provides them with a solution. This solution is that those customers who have this problem can choose to have a local distributor to replace the problematic parts for free to solve the problem.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has been investigating Hyundai and Kia since last year, because many car accidents related to these two companies have been reported before. These accidents have had a great impact on individuals, and a total of 103 people were injured.
