The new Santa Cruz may not arrive until next year, and the developer is currently designing more popular details for this model.
Since the Santa Cruz debut in 2015, the developer has announced that this model will be built together with the Santa Fe mid-size SUV.
Judging from the recently leaked photos, the towing capability of this model is being tested. But so far, the developer has not revealed to the outside world information on the maximum towing and payload capacity of this model. However, it may be lower than the maximum towing and payload capacity of models such as the Chevrolet Colorado and Ford Ranger, and may be similar to the Honda Ridgeline at 5,000 pounds.
This model is expected to use a 2.4-liter and turbocharged 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder engine, which may be paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive drive.
As can be seen from the leaked photos, this model also has a jagged, wide grille pattern and LED headlights.
This model is expected to arrive at US dealers in 2021.
