Kia will Launch the New K5 Sedan
Kia has officially removed Optima from its portfolio and the developer has decided to launch the new K5 in the US.
The model will go on sale next year and is expected to arrive in July or August.
The new model will be powered by the N3 platform. The U.S. version will have a turbocharged 1.6-liter inline four-cylinder engine and will be paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive, which will provide 180 horsepower and 195 pounds of torque.
In addition to the devices mentioned above, the developer also offers an all-wheel drive option on the model, though customers who opt for this model may be delayed in getting their cars.
The new model will also feature a sheetmetal design, high-end soundproofing and an 8.0-inch touch screen. If you’re not satisfied with the size of the screen, you can opt for a larger screen, with a 10.3-inch screen.
To make the car more popular, the developer also allows two Bluetooth connections at the same time, but it’s not compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The GT, which is still under development, may deliver 290 HP and will come with P Zero tires.
