To Ensure the Normal Production of New Models, Ford Builds a New Plant
The developer reassured the public that Ford’s promise to make electric cars was not true by announcing an investment in electric cars.
According to the developer’s latest report, Ford will invest $700 million to develop an electric F-150. It also emerged that the developer was already producing the next generation of pick-up trucks.
The developer invested $700 million to build a new Rouge electric vehicle center.
Three hundred jobs are expected to be created to smoothly produce and assemble batteries for the F-150 and F-150 PowerBoost.
The electric F-150 will have something that previous models have not, and will have better output and acceleration than they have.
The developer also said that the F-series pickup would be the most popular of all models, and to that end, Ford would develop a more popular electric F-150 for the masses, an electric car that would be tailored to customers with powerful pickup trucks.
But details of the vehicle are still unclear, other than what the developer is investing in. The only thing that is known is that the car will be more powerful and work first.
Most importantly, the developer is figuring out how to develop the car at a lower operating cost.
The F-150 PowerBoost may arrive at dealers earlier than the all-electric F-150. The electric F-150 will also have a Sync 4 infotainment system and a central console.
