New Mild-Hybrid will Add New Technologies
Ford has announced that it will add mildly hybrid technology to some of its cars. As a result of this new technology, cars will be more popular with the public.
The developer USES the same system as the Puma SUV, and the technology will be added to both versions of the Fiesta, along with a 1.0-liter EcoBoost gas engine.
Unlike other technologies, this one will not use any electricity. The developer also argues that using the new technology will boost its economy by almost 5 per cent.
With the exception of the entry level and ST, all hybrids will use light hybrids.
The engine replacement is a light change made by the developer, and the EcoBoost engine also USES cylinder deactivation technology, which reduces fuel consumption.
In addition to the above, a new seven-speed gearbox will be added to the Fiesta. Adaptive cruise control and Sync 3 infotainment will also be added.
